Hearing sound

Listening through headphones
1 Insert the headphone plug into the phones jack.
÷ Headphones with a stereo mini plug can be connected.
÷ The sounds from all speakers are cut off.
Power Switch Standby
When this system is in standby condition (time display
for the R-SE9T, STANDBY indication for DP-SE9, standby
indicator lit for X-SE9), a slight current flows for memory
protection.
At this time also, the remote control can be used for
power ON.
÷ Press again to resume the original volume.
÷ This is also cancelled when the volume is adjusted.
2 Adjust the volume.

Bass compensation (N.B.: Natural Bass circuit)

÷ In the TUNER mode, this feature functions only when
the volume is set to 0 or when the muting is set to ON.
When CD has been selected.
AUTO POWER SAVE function
When more than 30 minutes have elapsed after the
unit in the power-ON condition was left untouched
without performing recording or playback or after
the MUTE key of the remote control was pressed,
this function switches the power off automatically.
This function can be activated or deactivated by the
following operation.
Each press switches the modes as follows.
1APS ON..... Auto power save is used.
2APS OFF.... Auto power save is not used.
Press when the power is OFF.

The indication changes each time this key is
pressed.
1NB ON... The low range are compensated
according to the volume (effective
for low volumes).
2NB OFF... In the ON setting, the EX. BASS
function is turned off.
Setting to OFF returns the levels
of the low and high range
frequencies to the levels set with
the multi control knob.
